Info & Insights
Glass found in kitchenware usually has additives which makes it less likely to crack when exposed to extreme temperature changes (hot and cold).
The downside is that this kind of glass (borosilicate glass & Pyrex) cannot be recycled.
Likewise most decorative glass (including glass trophies and awards) are not recyclable.
