Unfortunately there are very few Used Cooking Oil recycling bins open to the public.
Never throw oil down the drain. Doing so can contribute to fatberg blockages in the sewers.
When the oil has cooled, poor it into a disposable plastic bottle and seal it before throwing into the trash.
If the oil was purchased in a glass bottle, you can clean out and recycle the bottle.

From time to time, UCO recycling bins pop up in condos or at RCs.
We have heard of oil recycling being done in some condos and occasionally at Residents' Committees offices. Check with your RC… and perhaps give them a nudge to do this too!

Old oil can remove adhesive residue from stickers and glue.
Having a tough time removing a label from a bottle or jar? Oil is excellent at removing sticky glue residue that is not easily removed by water. Just cover the residue with some oil and leave it for a few hours. The glue will wipe off easily.
Keep a bit of old oil around for this.
Note: because oil stains, only use this method on glass, plastic & metal. Don't use on paper, plaster, or fabric.

Biodiesel from Oil recycling
There are close to 20 used cooking oil recyclers in Singapore however they mostly all deal in large volumes collecting oil from F&B outlets.
Why aren't these made available to the public? The quality and volume of used cooking oil coming from home kitchens does not make it feasible for businesses to collect it.
Some companies like Apeiron Bioenergy and Oil Village do setup smaller collection bins for the public and housing estates on a limited basis.
