Can you give a talk to my organisation?

Yes it is possible for us to organise a talk by zoom or in person for a nominal contribution to the running costs of the website.

How much do you charge for a talk?

Zoom

  • For a one-hour talk, we ask for a contribution equivalent to 1 months running cost for Recyclpedia.sg ($75).
  • The charge will be waived for audiences larger than 50 people
  • Subject to negotiation for non-profit groups only

In Person

  • For a one-hour talk, we ask for a contribution equivalent to 2 months running cost ($150).
  • The speaker will arrive 30 minutes before the talk to ensure tech and room setup is suitable.
  • The speaker will be available for Q&A and onsite consultation for up to an additional 30-60 minutes after the talk (for a total of 2+ hours on site).
  • The organisation needs to provide all relevant IT equipment including laptop.
  • Subject to negotiation for non-profit groups only

Prep

  • Both in-person and zoom talks include 30 minutes of prep discussion with the organiser over zoom or phone.
  • Likewise we will provide you with image collaterals to support any EDMs or other talk announcements you create for your organisation.

Payment

  • Note that payments are not made to a corporate entity. Recyclopedia.sg is run with personal funds.
  • Payment can be made by Paynow.

What are your talks about?

  • Our talk will discuss myths and misunderstandings about recycling in the Singapore context.
  • The talks are entertaining and eye-opening - we've had lots of positive feedback from attendees.
  • If you would prefer a more customised talk, there may be additional charged for development. Let's talk! We are happy to waive the cost of development if the content is something that could be reused for a wider audience.

Contact us to discuss.
