This list is not exhaustive. We add to it all the time.

Some basic rules of thumb

Something is not recyclable if:

• it's made of many different materials which cannot be taken apart
• taking it apart is more costly than the value of the material harvested
• anything with food waste or oily
• anything rubber or silicon
• anything ceramic, stone or other minerals (eg diatomite mat)
• most types of plastic except those listed in Recyclopedia.sg as acceptable for recycling
• small things (they get filtered out and are too small to process)

If the item you want to discard is not suitable to share, pass on, freecycle or donate and it is likewise not suitable for recycling THROW IT OUT. 

DO NOT WISHCYCLE!
